Overview

DKLUTTER — COMPLETE PRODUCT DESCRIPTION WHAT IS DKLUTTER? DKlutter is a web-based personal and collaborative planning application created by MaxDef Technologies, whose CEO is Asher Maxwell. It brings tasks, schedules, calendars, timetables, notes, files, AI-assisted planning, and team coordination into one connected workspace. It helps users organize responsibilities, identify priorities, plan their time, and track progress from daily activities to longer-term commitments. Users can maintain a personal workspace for their own responsibilities and participate in separate collaborative workspaces for shared projects and team activities. Public information website: https://dklutter.site.maxdeftech.com/ Application: https://dklutter.maxdeftech.com/ The functionality described below reflects the current application source and documentation. Availability on the live application depends on the deployed version and configured services. WHAT PROBLEM DOES DKLUTTER SOLVE? Many people manage their lives through disconnected tools: calendars for appointments, to-do lists for tasks, notebooks for ideas, spreadsheets for schedules, and separate applications for shared files and team assignments. This creates scattered information, repeated work, missed deadlines, unclear priorities, and unnecessary mental effort. For teams, it can also make responsibility and progress difficult to track. DKlutter addresses these problems by connecting planning information and supporting materials in one place. A task can appear in a calendar, move through a Kanban board, contain a checklist, depend on another task, be assigned to a teammate, and contribute to progress reporting. The purpose is to help users move from remembering and organizing responsibilities to taking action on a clear, manageable plan. WHO DOES DKLUTTER CATER TO? Individuals People managing appointments, errands, household responsibilities, routines, personal projects, and everyday commitments. Students Students organizing class timetables, study sessions, assignments, deadlines, reference notes, and group projects. Professionals People balancing meetings, deadlines, work tasks, documentation, and personal responsibilities. Freelancers Independent workers managing project schedules, deliverables, supporting notes, files, and competing priorities. Entrepreneurs and small teams Business owners and teams coordinating responsibilities, meetings, shared information, assignments, and progress. Project leaders and coordinators People who need to assign work, manage permissions, review completion requests, monitor dependencies, and understand team contributions. Technical and knowledge workers People who need structured notes, code blocks, tables, diagrams, and documentation alongside their planning tools. These are suitable use cases based on DKlutter’s features, rather than a claim about its existing customer base. AVAILABLE FUNCTIONALITIES 1. Dashboard and workspace overview DKlutter provides a dashboard that summarizes the active workspace. Users can review open work, upcoming commitments, planning summaries, completion information, activity updates, and shortcuts to relevant sections. Personal and collaborative dashboards provide information appropriate to the type of workspace being viewed. 2. Tasks, events, and reminders Users can create and manage tasks, events, and reminders. Entries can include titles, dates, start and end times, locations, notes, priorities, categories, statuses, and advance alerts. Priority levels include low, medium, high, and urgent. Categories include work, personal, health, finance, family, learning, errands, and other responsibilities. Users can edit, duplicate, delete, and search entries. Collaborative entries can also support assignment and visibility controls. 3. Checklists and task dependencies Tasks can contain checklists that break larger responsibilities into smaller steps. Task dependencies identify work that must happen before another task can proceed. This helps users understand the order of activities and recognize blocked work. 4. Daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly planning DKlutter provides multiple views of planning information. The daily view helps users organize individual days and scheduled time blocks. The weekly view shows commitments across a week and helps users balance their workload. The monthly view supports reviewing upcoming dates and deadlines. The yearly view provides a broader view of commitments and activity across the year. Supported calendar views allow drag-and-drop rescheduling. 5. Recurring responsibilities Tasks, events, and reminders can repeat daily, weekly, monthly, or yearly. Recurring occurrences preserve relevant details, including time, duration, location, notes, alerts, category, priority, and checklist structure. Users can remove an individual occurrence or delete the original recurring series. 6. Kanban task boards DKlutter includes Kanban boards that organize tasks into Pending, In Progress, Completed, and Needs Review columns. Users can move tasks between columns using drag-and-drop or movement controls. Status changes are reflected across the workspace. Boards support daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly planning periods, along with task details, checklist progress, and search. 7. Custom timetables Users can create structured timetables for classes, routines, work sessions, and other scheduled activities. Timetable functionality includes editable rows, columns, time-slot labels, titles, and descriptions. Entries can contain text, notes, badges, and colors. Users can select custom colors and maintain reusable color kits. Activities can span multiple consecutive rows, allowing longer sessions to appear as a single block. Timetables support copying, moving, editing, deleting, drag-and-drop movement, duplication, templates, supported imports, and CSV exports. 8. AI-assisted planning Users can describe their obligations and select a daily, weekly, monthly, or yearly planning horizon. The AI planning feature can generate a proposed plan containing a summary, suggested strategies, time blocks, explanations, and suggested tasks, events, or reminders. Suggested entries can include dates, times, priorities, and categories. Users can review the generated plan and add its suggested items to their schedule. This feature helps turn an unstructured list of responsibilities into an actionable starting plan. 9. Notes and documentation DKlutter includes a Markdown notes workspace for study material, meeting records, project documentation, ideas, and reference information. Notes support folders, categories, tags, and pinning. Formatting features include headings, lists, checklists, tables, quotations, links, images, inline code, and code blocks. Users can preview formatted notes and create Mermaid diagrams, including flowcharts, sequence diagrams, and architecture diagrams. Supported exports include print-to-PDF output. 10. Personal and collaborative workspaces Each signed-in user has a personal workspace and can create or join collaborative workspaces. Users can switch between workspaces while keeping their content separate. Collaborative workspace features include names, descriptions, join codes, invitations, membership management, leadership transfer, and leaving a workspace. The workspace leader can permanently delete a collaborative workspace. 11. Invitations and team membership Workspace invitations can be addressed by username or email. Users can accept or decline invitations through notifications. Email delivery is available when the email service is configured. Workspace leadership can manage members and their roles. 12. Roles and permissions Collaborative workspaces support Leader, Co-leader, Admin, and Member roles. Permissions govern activities such as creating content, assigning work, managing timetables and notes, scheduling meetings, uploading files, inviting members, and viewing analytics. Leaders and co-leaders have broader operational control. Permanent workspace deletion remains restricted to the leader. Users can request editing access to a specific item. Approval grants access to that item without broadly changing their permissions across the workspace. 13. Task assignments and completion review Authorized users can assign work to workspace members. Members can find their assignments in a dedicated Assigned to me view, including due-state, priority, progress, creator, and assigner information. Assigned members can submit completed work for review. Workspace leadership can approve or decline completion requests. Approved work updates the task and relevant contribution reporting. 14. Meetings Collaborative workspaces include meeting scheduling. Meeting information can include an agenda, date, time, location, and joining link. Meeting-related notifications help members find the relevant information. Joining links can direct users to an external meeting service. 15. Shared files and folders Collaborative workspaces include a shared file library. Users with appropriate permissions can upload, download, organize, move, rename, and delete files and folders. The library supports nested folders and drag-and-drop uploading and organization. Supported document types include PDF, Word, Markdown, text, Excel, PowerPoint, and CSV. Preview availability depends on the file format. 16. Personal analytics DKlutter provides analytics based on recorded planning activity. Users can review completion rates, outstanding work, completion streaks, and performance by priority and category. The application includes an activity-based progress score and suggestions derived from recorded activity. These features help users identify patterns in their workload and follow-through. 17. Team contribution reporting Collaborative workspaces include contribution rankings and activity heatmaps. Reporting reflects recorded contributions, including confirmed work and attendance. This helps teams understand participation and recognized progress within the workspace. 18. Notifications and alerts DKlutter supports notifications for scheduled items, assignments, invitations, meetings, files, permission requests, and completion reviews. Notifications can open the relevant workspace section or provide actions such as accepting an invitation or reviewing a request. Users can manage notification read states and clear notifications through the available controls. 19. Import and export Users can import supported data formats, including JSON, CSV, Excel, and Markdown. Export options include complete workspace backups and specific sections such as tasks, events, reminders, schedules, timetables, notes, plans, notifications, and settings. Imports target the active workspace. Available operations depend on the content format and the user’s permissions. 20. Backups DKlutter supports manual backup creation, downloadable backup files, configurable backup schedules, and private cloud backup snapshots. Backup schedules can be configured for daily, weekly, monthly, or yearly intervals. Backups help users preserve and restore supported workspace content and settings. Scheduled backups run while the application is open and catch up when the application is reopened. 21. Appearance and personalization Users can choose light, dark, or device-matched appearance. Other personalization options include accent colors, color presets, timetable color kits, 12-hour or 24-hour time display, and sound preferences. Account-linked appearance settings synchronize across devices where supported. 22. Onboarding and usability DKlutter includes guided onboarding, contextual tooltips, and an in-app changelog. Its responsive interface adapts to desktop and smaller screens. Navigation, search, contextual menus, and workspace shortcuts help users move between planning activities. 23. Accounts and online synchronization DKlutter uses account-based access to identify users and protect workspace content. Users can access their synchronized workspace from another device. Shared workspace changes can appear automatically for other members, while permissions govern access to collaborative content. CURRENT OPERATING BOUNDARIES Reliable saving and synchronization require an internet connection. AI planning requires a configured and available AI service. Generated plans should be reviewed before use. Shared notes are available, but simultaneous live co-editing is currently disabled to prevent conflicting edits. Scheduled backups depend on the application being open and catch up when it is reopened. Browser alerts depend on browser permissions and runtime behavior. File previews and import/export coverage vary by format. A workspace backup should not be assumed to contain the complete binary contents of every uploaded file. OVERALL VALUE DKlutter helps users connect what they need to do, when they intend to do it, the information required to complete it, and the people responsible. For individuals, it provides a clearer structure for everyday life and personal projects. For teams, it provides shared planning, defined responsibilities, controlled access, completion review, and visible progress. Its central purpose is to reduce scattered information and the effort of managing responsibilities, making it easier to turn intentions into organized action.
